Job Description

  • Understand and apply current legal requirements related to occupational safety and health.
  • Coordinate with the Head of EHS to conduct training, drills, and inspections related to occupational safety, environmental hygiene, emergency response plans, fire prevention, and disaster preparedness at schools/facilities and projects.
  • Monitor and report the implementation of procedures related to safety, health, and environmental issues to the Head of Department.
  • Report any unsafe behaviors or unsafe conditions to the Head of EHS upon detection.
  • Inspect and remind relevant departments to comply with occupational safety regulations.
  • Monitor the implementation of environmental monitoring and workplace environmental monitoring activities at schools/facilities.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of EHS.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: College/University degree in Occupational Safety & Environment, Labor Protection, Environmental Engineering, or Occupational Safety Engineering. Note: Occupational safety and health certification is required.
  • Professional experience: At least 02 years of experience in a related field.
  • Professional competence: Knowledge of relevant laws such as the Law on Environmental Protection and the Law on Occupational Safety and Health. Understanding of standards, environmental impact assessment methods, risk assessment, and root cause analysis. Relevant certificates are an advantage.
  • Proficient in spoken English.
  • Required job skills:

a. Ability to manage and organize work effectively.

b. Analytical and synthesis skills; planning and reporting skills.

c. Communication skills, including the ability to present and explain topics related to health, safety, and environmental protection.

d. Good MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Personal qualities and attitude: proactive and responsible; honest, straightforward, with high confidentiality awareness; strong teamwork and support spirit.
